The behind-the-scenes are just so telling and so inspiring! I feel like we don't often get that "peek behind the curtain" in mainstream media nowadays so getting to see that is always special- and so interesting! And I totally hear you on frustrations with people who don't go deeper to find out the meaning behind the songs too - I just want to shake them and say "turn on the subtitles!!" 🤣 Hehe and yes the whole Rockstar album are certainly "bangers" 100% - but I'm glad I'm not the only who sees the true beauty of Seungmin's one-take in Cover Me. It's just incredible 💙 And I don't think that's silly at all, Gail! I think it's incredibly inspiring to be able to see you take inspiration and motivation for the physical challenges that come with the blessing of age. I don't think many people have that, and it's yet another reason we can appreciate SKZ so much! (P.S. I also feel like all of us Stays together would have the best car rides rocking out and singing along together! 🤘) The next video coming out on Wednesday will be one you will laugh your pants off at- I can't wait to enjoy with you too, Gail!

The positive messages had me hooked from the start of my journey of becoming a Stay. I sometimes become frustrated with reactors who don’t take the time to understand what the lyrics mean in their music - the lyrics combined with the musicality and complexity of each song is unmatched. I cannot watch Seungmin’s one take of Cover Me without tears coming to my eyes. Like you, it is my favorite track of the album, which is saying a lot, because, in my opinion, they all are “bangers” as Chan would say! As an ancient Stay, it resonated with me when you talked about how much their hard work and dedication inspires you in your personal journey. As silly as it might sound to people, being in my mid seventies has sometimes very real physical challenges. Seeing the constant mental and physical effort that these talented young men put into their music has given me the motivation to push myself physically, and their music (All of Rock Star is on repeat in the car) keeps me smiling and singing constantly. I hope they know how much they mean to so many Stays. I can’t wait to enjoy the next video with you.
