Quest Academy: Loyalists (Chapters 61, 62, 63)
Added 2025-11-10 17:44:25 +0000 UTCHey Everyone,
Really sorry for the later upload today. I wasn't happy with the chapters and restarted a few of them, which resulted in us only having three this week. I'm hoping to get back to my higher cadence by next week. Sleeping pattern is better, and new keyboard has been ordered. I've been working off the laptop the last while.
I hope you enjoy these. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks to everyone pointing out the continuity errors or aspects of the story that aren't making sense. It'll all be tightened up during the editing phase at the end of the story, but it's always good to make notes now.
We're only a few days from the release of Book 5 on Amazon! Hopefully everyone will enjoy it as much as I enjoyed writing it. Thank you all so much for the support in getting us to this point. I couldn't be happier with the progress of Quest Academy, and it wouldn't be possible without you all.
All the best,
Brian

I tried using ai to write in the past and the result was the same kind of incoherent stuff the last chapters gave. Very disappointing specially with how inconsistent the characters of the main characters have been since book 5

2025-12-19 02:53:09 +0000 UTCch62 - There were so many facts and figures being shown to him, and all of them served excitement and anticipation. //served vs generated or something similar? ch63 - "I'm only level six." Sal admitted with an awkward laugh. "So, I'm just trying to figure out how you got to ten so easily." //Barry was level 18 at that point.

2025-11-14 06:31:17 +0000 UTCAnother great set of chapters. Really enjoying Book 6, likely my favourite so far. While reading these 3 chapters for the 2nd or 3rd time, I realised that I had no idea of the time frame - how many days, weeks, maybe months, have passed since Chapter 1 where Jez was talking about acquisitions and Sal mused: "They had some good reserves, but they weren't close to earning the amount needed to do those sorts of plays." Does anyone know how long ago that was? Has Sal started to participate in the Guild Master classes with other Guild Masters?

2025-11-12 01:33:15 +0000 UTCI'm excited as hell to see the pre-roll-out of Legion and what comes next! I misread Sal's the first time though and didn't realize he had to replicate Factor 5 weaves, "that is monstrous"! And at the end, there is my hero Barry, being awesome lol! Once again, great job and can't wait for the next installment, same bat time, same bat channel!

2025-11-11 14:42:33 +0000 UTCIt's interesting to see how the whole Legion system will work, but the star of the show this week was the cane appraisal. Arachne looks badass... oh wait! /mutter /mutter /this means war.

2025-11-10 18:15:01 +0000 UTCThanks for the chapters Brian. Question concerning the "support" designation. There seems to be two types of supports; a passive type like Anders or Alex, and maybe Anthony, and an active support like Blathnaid and O'Brian whoadd the function to a dungeon team. On my character spreadsheet I have them as "support passive (SP)" and "support active (SA)".
