I just enabled upfront charge
Added 2021-09-20 17:04:12 +0000 UTCHi everyone, I just wanted to let you know about this change in settings (and for future patrons to be aware of this).
I just changed my page to upfront charge, which means that new patrons will be charged as soon as they sign up, and then the first day of each month.
For already signed up patrons this will make no difference. You will continue being charged at the start of each month, just like before. The only difference will be if you want to upgrade your membership, you will get charged the difference in rates (between your old membership and the new one) right away when you upgrade, and then again at the start of each month.
So, if you want to sign up and/or upgrade your membership, I would suggest to to do it in the first days of the month, this fits better the logistics of how Patreon does the charges.
