Making a Historically Accurate Rapunzel Inspired Renaissance Gown!

After literal months in the making, here is an extra long video about making a very extra dress!

Fabric and fit issues plagued this project, but in the end I’m really happy with it. I think it is beautiful and I love the colors, textures, and finished result! It is a way better outcome than I had expected, given the frustration it provided at times.

My next project will hopefully go much faster - and then I’ll be getting to work on a pink and white ensemble from a fabric that won a poll. Both those projects will feature in vlogs, so hopefully those videos will be much faster to edit, too!

This one had ninety minutes of footage when it was roughly cut down (the raw footage was eight HOURS or so), and a similarly lengthy voice over. Everyday over the last week I’ve been like “I’m going to finish this today” —  but today is finally the day where it is finished!

I hope it is enjoyable, and hopefully I will have another video up for early access before the end of the month. Because I’ve actually finished and filmed TWO projects this month!

Sequins and Sparkle It is super!!!

I'd love to see a video on sequins. Your collection, how you organize them, types, tips for sewing them. I'm wanting to start a sequin/beading project and I'm scared.
