Stained Glass Cats 2.0 πββ¬π [Process]

Last week I didn't know what to paint - I wanted to stay in the spooky theme and wasn't too inspired. My sister suggested I could do a redraw of this painting I don't like, Stained Glass Cats :
I liked the idea but didn't love the color palette and the overall rendering of this painting - I also remember not enjoying the process and it might be the main reason why I don't like this illustration !
So I started redrawing it on Procreate. I kept the same composition, I changed the face, the dress and the pattern in the frame :
I kept the same color palette but made it more neutral (new vs old) :

Now we can choose our favorite version of this illustration (I know some of you like the first one and I'm glad you do !!) πΊ
I had fun with the outfit, painting silk/satin/velvet is always a challenge but the result makes a difference !
