License changes coming
Added 2024-02-27 06:01:06 +0000 UTCIn anticipation for the official release, as of April 1st 2024 licenses will no longer be granted per month of Patreon membership. Any licenses earned from the old structure will be honored for up to 3 months(June 30th 2024) after this change. Beginning April 1st 2024 licenses will be available for purchase at a rate of $10 each. Links to where to buy the licenses on the new structure will be provided closer to release. Going forward, membership will grant you early access to any firmware changes, any new products I am working on, and just continue to help support the project overall. I hope you all can understand the reasons for this change and as always your support in this project has been hugely meaningful.

Licenses are for the life of the device. They are tied to the Pi that runs everything. So I will never charge more than the $10 for a license. I do not have an exact launch date just yet, but if everything goes to plan, official launch will happen before the end of March.

I have been a Patreon for a few months now but haven't had a chance to build the beta unit yet. I was planning to wait until it is closer to the full release. Is April 1 when that is planned?
