Some images of potential color options
Added 2023-10-30 18:49:17 +0000 UTCI wanted to give a little something that I am working on in the background. These are color concepts for the default colors when someone is ordering a complete unit. I am thinking I’d want to bring it down to two colors that work well with each other so they can be used as inverted color options and I don’t have to stock a ton of filament colors. I am leaning towards the gold and teal. While these concepts are PLA, the ultimate product will be ABS. This means final colors may vary from this concept. So more to come on this topic.

For the sensor mount, yeah. This part should be printed in black. I haven't done a lot of testing on the black options, but I'll assume that matte is even going to be better.

2023-11-12 20:23:07 +0000 UTCI am curious, does the color of filament used for the housing effect the readings of filament at all when it comes to color? Like, if I had a red housing a was reading a while filament, does it read different (a little pink) compared to using a white or black housing?
