Seems like you have made the red god a completely neutral character towards humanity while I would classify the old gods as more of a lawful evil. Which is interesting and usually it's the other way we're the old gods are good or at least a neutralish good

2025-07-10 18:26:46 +0000 UTCI want to ask, can you tell me whether Maegelle loves Solonys like her father Aegon with her mother Gael? Because from the previous chapter in Maegelle's POV, she doesn't seem to love Solonys. The reason why she "compromised" with her marriage arrangement, besides because of her parents' request, it was also the promise that Maegelle could claim a dragon..... Well, I think it would be quite sad, when all her siblings have a loving marriage, and only Maegelle and Solonys' marriage is based on compromise and arrangement.

2025-07-03 03:25:02 +0000 UTCSorry for the late review. It was fortunate that I waited given that you added 3 new scenes. It looks like Viserys II, really did take Aegon's words to heart, especially in regards to the lords of the realm not being allies to House Targaryen, his wary relationship with Corwyn and House Velaryon is definitely an indication of that and given that he would in future take steps to further centralise and standardise the laws and taxations of Westeros. the Westerosi nobility whould be grateful they got Visery II's treatment instead of Aegon's as it is less bloody and no extinction of the majority of the noble houses. It looks like Visery II, really did take a lot of inspiration from Aegon. I am curious if any of the wiser lords noticed that. I am also curious as to what Baelon's opinions of Visery II's actions are. No doubt, he sees hints of his heretic uncle in his son and king. It also looks like things have turned out very well for Sallen Baerros as well as all the other of the "old guard", who followed Aegon from the start when he left Westeros for the Summer Islands. I have no doubt that all of them are extremely happy that they took a chance on Aegon and have seen their loyalty and service well rewarded. They are probably richer and more at peace that any other group of people on Planetos. No doubt their names will go down in legend and myth as beeing those who first followed "Aegon the Founder" on his holy quest to discover Elamaerys. Sallen especially will no doubt see that him having to flee Qohor for his life being the greatest fortune to have ever happened to him as it ended up with him being in Aegon's service and led to him surpassing any ambition he might have ever dreamed of in his youth. It was also nice to see the "Old Guards" views in regards to the developments happening in Elamaerys. So it looks like the Hightower duaghteer will end up married into House Baerros though her brothers will never be allowed to marry into nobility, assuming they do not try to ferment any secret rebellion, which would end with them beheaded. Though I looks like Elamaerys will be having a few wars to fight in the coming century after Aegon is gone and having to deal with many magical problems. Polaerys p.o.v., was nice to see and well as the revelations that Aegon's visions have revealed. Though I have to say, it is very heartbreaking that Polaerys get to see how much his father has this desire to die. In fact, I am shocked that Polaerys has not informed Gael already so that she can put a stop to whatever suicidal ideas Aegon seems to have. Though a part of me wonders if Gael already suspect or knows and that she might decide to join Aegon when he finally decides its time for him to die. I hope that you will at least clarify to us all what is written in this book of Serpent Runes, as well as what this "Heart of the World" is and what gods actually exist in Planetos as well as what power brought Aegon to Planetos to begin with. So, it looks like Aegon did in the end decide to carry out the jewel hiest in Stary Sept, but decided to wait for a few years, so that people would not suspect that it was him who stole the Moonstones and was the reason why the presence of the "gods" have left Oldtown. I do have a question about that though, "The Seven who are One" do not really exist do they, or are they simply made up by the Andals as to give reason to why they all abandoned Essos to flee to Westeros? Also, where did the Andals get thosee gemstones which are imbued with such power as I doubt thee Andals every practiced magic. Will you be revealing this to us in the Epilogue? Also, I am curious if Aegon's soul will really be destroyed in this ritual hee plans to perform. I get the feeling that that is not what is going to happen and the death is not going to be the end or the last time we see Aegon in Planetos. He might eend up ascending to becoming some sort of Force Ghost that can interfere or appear to war his descendants and his people in times of need. Are you going to reveal to use what the Gemstone Emperor's really are and how they became what they were in this Outer Plane, if Aegon destines to become something like them? Aegon's battle in the ruin city of Zamettar was definitely epic. Its a pity that none of his people or children were able to witness it as it would no doubt solidify in their minds that Aegon's branch of House Targaryen are Holy and that the Targaryen family are thee holy family, not that they do not believe so already but witnessing this battle would have further solidified this fact in their hearts and minds. Still though, I bet Misaragorn have extremely offended at the fact that between him and Aegon, he was weak link in the battle, and that Aegon had to leave him behind so that he could go back and finish the fight alone. No doubt Misaragorn's greatly pride was wounded that his puny human had to finish the fight without him. Plus the fact that Aegon thought Misaragon needed battle scar to prove that he was the biggest and baddest dragon of them all. If Misaragorn growth rate reflects Aegon magical growth then Misaragorn should be close to Balerion's size by now. Also, I have a question, if Aegon is going to grow through with the ritual that will bee fueled by his death and sacrifice, I get the feeling that Misaragorn is not going to let him go through with it alone. They have been together since infancy, Misaragorn will not let him die without following him as I doubt Misaragorn will ever take on another rider after Aegon if hee lives past Aegon's death. The scene with High Septon Aurion was also definitely something, it makes me wonder again if "The Seven Who Are One" are actually real gods or are they just made up by the Andals due to the jewels in thee Seven Statues. I think I recall you saying in one of the reviews that the gods of the "The Faith of Seven" do not exist. Please correct me if I am wrongs. If they indeed do not exist that what is this bright figure that Aurion is seeing or is this a magical manipulation that Aegon is performing? The scene with Lessala in Volantis was also well done. I guess now we know why wee have not seen much of her since the end of thee Second Arc. She was no doubt busy behind thee scenes in Volantis. It looks like the Red Priest weree busy purifying the Targaryen Blood they got from Saera Targaryen's children, in order to create and Emperor for Volantis with which to form an Empire. Its funny how dynasties with Targaryeen blood will bee ruling in Essos, Westeros and Elamaerys. No doubt the Aegon the Conqueror must be wondering in the afterlife if he has started a trend for his descendants. Regardless, it looks like House Targaryen blood will be forming the majority of the ruling dynasties in the known world. No doubt Aenar the Exile would be proud, his family is the only bloodline Dragonlord family whose bloodline will endure teest of time. And we also get a glimps of Melisandre, I wonder what she will be upto when the Long Night finally comes. No doubt Housee Targaryen will have many branches by the time of 298 AC in this timeline. Looking forward to the epilogue and the upcoming Tartered Dragon Historical chapters. One last thing, will you be explaining the reason behind the story's name being "The Tartered Dragon".

2025-06-30 11:46:53 +0000 UTCCould you use red or some other color font for the added stuff or maybe highlight them. It’s kinda hard trying to find the changes without rereading everything. Just me but I don’t reread any changes made since I don’t have a clue where it is.

2025-06-30 00:23:46 +0000 UTCNope, they're both. I think you might not have downloaded the new version because they have the same name?

2025-06-29 22:58:39 +0000 UTCI feel like it'd be dumb if they did exist in some form. The whole targaryen bloodline is changed.

2025-06-28 17:50:25 +0000 UTCIn the sequel will characters like Jon or Daenerys exist in some form with the war of the dawn still approaching even if they have different names? If there is another SI in the sequel it will be interesting to see how they react to the changes in history they are unfamiliar with due to Aegon's influence.

2025-06-28 16:19:28 +0000 UTCConsuming the entities doesn't corrupt him. The Staff primary purpose is to consume dark entities and its nature abhors the corruption of the entities, even though its power is derived from the same ilk. The transformation in the ritual conducted on dragonstone 'purified' the intent of the consumption. The energy too is merely just energy through the consumption process, which at the same time purifies the consumed energy. Aegon was just shocked that his own Will had been totally taken over by the nature of the Staff, which had been because he tied himself to the Staff almost as close as he was with Misaragorn. Previously, he only leaned into the link. This time link was basically unifying their 'spirits'.

2025-06-28 11:28:27 +0000 UTCDoesn't consuming all these entities corrupt him? Or maybe I misunderstood what he is doing by consuming. Is he rendering the entities to base energy, stripped of consciousness and storing leftover energy?

2025-06-28 11:23:41 +0000 UTC1) no not really but there will be apprentices. Magic is kind of unhinged in ASOIAF. You don't want anyone to be able to learn it. 3) yes 4) there'll always be dark mages 5) yes in the sequel there'll be a lot about yi-ti

2025-06-28 01:48:43 +0000 UTCWow makes the future more intriguing 1) Will there be a magic school like Hogwarts etc in Elamaerys? 2) Will Aegon tell his past life details to his kids before passing? 3) Will there be a future historical chapter detailing Westeros and Elamaerys future? 4) Will there be mages from the dark side in your future fic? 5) Will Yi Ti play a role in the magic aspect since there r ties to Empire of Dawn?

2025-06-28 00:33:26 +0000 UTCDamn that was wild. Aegons really taking zero chances with the future. Not that I can blame him if his hunch about the planet being inside the astral plane ends up being true. I wonder if the three island nations had a common ancestor who understood that there were entities who could manipulate fate and corrupt men and put in place policies to limit their influence. Hence why they are so scared of “the darkness” getting in. I am also curious if he’ll try and tackle valaryia next. Make it reclaimable for his peoples descendents as well as gather more power. Will he be using the moonstones in the tree ritual or be putting them in the sept of elemaerys? My theory is If the ancient story about how the empire of the dawn was formed holds any traces of truth I could see the heart of the world being the maiden made of light with the lion of night being one of if not the entity from the astral plane. When the maiden “turned her back on the world” it could be that the children of the forest or some other entities perverted the weirwood trees away from their intended purpose. Without her direct intervention, the astral plane touched down on the planet and the dark entities came through. Or maybe not, who knows? Either way thank you so much for the great chapter, looking forward to the next and how you plan on wrapping the story up. Have a great day!
