Shadow The Hedgehog - Custom Model

This is a fun project that I've been working on for the last few weeks.
Fully custom model of my own "Mobian" style Sonic body, textured with Shadow's apperance. With varying creative choices.
I spent 11 hours alone on the shoes. Poly modeling and textured in Substance Painter. "Did I cook too hard with them?"... maybe.
This model is full body compatible in VRChat. That's why his body isn't the normal Mobian style of massive hands and feet with short and skinny tube limbs.
This model might become a public download in the future.
The constant comments that he looks like "ugly Sonic" haven't exactly movitated me to even do so anymore.

2025-02-18 07:39:36 +0000 UTCThe shoes are too cool for Sonic, so be proud about those shoes. If anything, the only thing I would change is that the eyebrows could be all-red and thinner. The current version makes them look like black marker is on the eyebrows. Other than that, I can't say there's a problem with how they look!

People need to calm down because this is far from ugly. I'd wear it for sure in VR.
