Should next update be more focussed on existing characters?
Added 2024-10-25 12:36:58 +0000 UTCOn the last devblog I got a bunch of feedback about how you would rather see me work on adding new weight gain stages to existing character instead of working on adding Vicky and Caroline to the game.
My original plan was to mostly work on Caroline and Vicky(the last two characters) for the next update.
Then get all characters up to a reasonable stage with story to accompany it to then have the game go into beta before adding stages to existing characters.
This poll is to see if I should switch up that plan. See if I should place more focus on adding more stages to existing characters who haven't seen content in a while.

If you don't pay the extra cost to give the gals more food you could probably get even more very fast. Plus as far as Vanderthorne is concerned he sees us as a valuable customer, or at least to the last part I saw him talk to us. So he could possibly be convinced to sell, but we will see when more of Maya's story is relreleased.

Some new content from Carolyn and Vicky would be awesome for sure. However, there is a big desire to see more content for the progression of Charlene, Sally, Hari, Rebecca, Myleena, and the Librarian (she eats a lot in Bunny Bites, but she experiences no changes). Then maybe some content for Cayenne, Britta, Natalie, Luna, Maya, Lisa, Marie, Amber, Bonnie, Lyn, Daisy, Katrine, Trista probably in that order. Currently, it feels like some are being lost in the story progression. That way some can be and introduced/integrated, and others progressed as others are introduced as well later down the road.

But I do want to see more content in terms of story vs weight gain, or both really in general. I don't mind however long it'll take.

But since it probably means a lot of work, you should decide and do what works for you Blade. After all, you are the conductor of this masterful work... Keep up the good work!

This has been the main selling point of previous updates (imo) and (still imo) what has been most lacking in 0.10. I think 0.11 should still have early stages for the two last characters, especially since it'd retroactively make 0.10 even less hype by postponing the gaining of the two main characters introduced there. After that however a few new stages per update would be nice, I think.

It will fit her character a little bit more. The main character can (of course) convince her to use more unhealthy oreo shakes later on.

That said, every time I play a new version of the game I get a new favourite character from the existing set - each update already seems to give them something different and I'm keen to see where they go next.

They (and Hari, when she was added) were technically already in the game, so it's not like they were completely new characters. But I do agree with the people asking if we can get the cast finalized pretty soon, so that we don't have to keep getting two updates (events + stages) getting new girls up to the level of existing characters.

I for my point would wish some more development on Hari, Maya, Bonnie and the hospital girls aswell as the gym girls. I loved the dynamic between Kathrien and Trista when I started playing your game and they are allways the first once I go for to fatten up to maximum. I also wish the Bonnie/ Rebecca storyline got more developed maybe with a double feeding session or a threesome

Having said that, my vote was to continue with existing characters before developing new ones. I am in love with (as much as one can be for non-real, fantasy characters in a story) with Natalie, Hari, Maya, and Lisa. Not only would I love to see them fill out more. I'd also love to see more "intimate action" scenes with them all. One thing I've noted that you may not have time for until later, but a lot of the top-down views of the MC when doing doggy style show the woman bending her waist at an angle (I guess to look back at the MC). I never had any experiences like that IRL. I would like to request more of the straight-on bumping and jiggling like what you have in The Gain Trials. Some of those ass sequences in the TGT videos are outstanding!! (Reminds me of actual encounters from years past.) If you could bring those in to some of the models in FC, it would really make the doggy style sequences MUCH more enticing. Thank you. Keep up the good work!

However if a compromise is neccessary in this case, then focus on Vicky and Caroline, but also Maya, Hari, and the Bunny Bites girls. I feel like all those characters are typically shown as being the least developed, in terms of their gain. So giving them all the showcase now in this next update would be a definite improvement.

2024-10-25 16:30:24 +0000 UTCI would say instead of the current plan of like 90-100% focusing on the new characters, maybe skew for a balance of like 50% new characters, 25% into new stages with story for a couple of the really popular girls, and 25% into new stages with temporary non story for some of the remaining girls. Keeps things a bit balanced and well rounded(huehue) for all. Like instead of 7-10 Maya/ Vicky/Caroline or w.e was planned, maybe give them 4-5 but then add in a stage or two story of hospital girls, Bonnie, Trista, ect with then 1-2 temporary image only stages for some of the other cast also. Best of all worlds kinda then.

I personally am hoping for an immobile stage at some point with a detailed intimate scene.

Plus, between all of them, there is enough mix of girls everyone is bound to be hyped for one. Beyond that, I still would love to see Maya and the classmates still get some more stage content, just instead of like 7 Maya and classmate stage contents maybe 1-2 hospital stages with 4-5 Maya/classmate stages if that makes sense. Just skew it a bit, not completely. Just my 2cents for my perfect world scenario, either way hyped as hell. 😄

As some have pointed out, Daisy has been at stage 17 for a long time. Perhaps a bit of balance? A poll to vote on one or two characters to receive a new weight stage while you focus on building up the rest of the cast? Maybe make it so one character can't be voted in repeatedly each update *cough bonnie cough* so no one gets too far ahead.

I think it would be smart to get those last two out despite what people are saying. Or is it not possible to come to some sort of compromise? You said in the dev log that things could change so could could you not bring in Vicky and Caroline and give two or three existing characters more stages? I know Bonnie and Hari are fan favourites for more stages.

In general developing on current characteres stories would be appreciated, but more stages also seems nice although not as important. I think there ale too many characteres with very little story/ events. Hari, Maya, Natalie, Rebbeca (?) and hospital girls in general. :)

Daisy feels like she's been maxed at stage 17 for a good year, and I'd really like to finally see more from her. While they've recently received new story beats (which does make things a bit different from Daisy, admittedly), the same goes for the Bunny Bites crew, and I'd really just like to see them all get that much closer to SSBBW territory.

I do this because i notice i am clicking a lot through all of the dialogue/events of the original characters, especially early on, because i have already seen most of all currently available stages of them. It's pretty repetitive at this point and no longer as exciting as before. Would love to see more stages incl. face/arm gain on daisy, trista (hopefully the abs will be packed away at some point xD ), Luna and the bunny bites girls (20ish), with or without story added. Its about the gaining process in a WEIGHT GAIN game after all :) <3 Loved the process of Leanne for Example, how she "skipped" a few clothing sizes, so hot! In some cases It'll be just an extra stage with no story, in other cases it'll be both a stage and story. It also won't change up the whole plan, for example I'll still include Maya story, weekly customer prizes at Bunny Bites and the Luna home redo in the next update regardless of the outcome.

But on the others hand. Fleshing out current chararcters is a bit more appealing in moving forward. Though @ the same time going for 50/50 sounds good to. Bit of both if possible to begin with.

Or is there a plan to have story content be part of those added weight stages? Because if it's just the weight stage itself I don't particularly have an interest in that.
