2024-10-24 16:33:16 +0000 UTCThere is no data stored in the registry. The saves files are stored in the game folder and in the appdata/roaming/renpy/fatteningcareer-xxxxx folder. The only instance where there could be saves loaded from the cloud is when you play the game through steam.

There are no "FatteningCareer-nnnnnnnnnn" folders. I had completely deleted the previous version and cleaned my Windows Register before installing FC 0.10.0—and the "game > saves" folder contains only saves after the current installation—but I still see hundreds of pages of saves from previous versions when I choose the "Prefs > Load" option or save while I play now. I do not see a "persistent" data folder, either; there is, however, a "persistent" file (no extension) in the "game > saves" folder. Is that what you meant? If this is a fresh installation, I don't see how that file would contain information from previous installations that were all nuked before loading the current version. @Bladerune9 — Is there info that is stored in the Register that may not have been cleaned up that stores this data? If not, then it must either be stored somewhere else on the hard drive or somewhere "in the cloud." How can I take care of this?

The whole point of luna is to have a more Breast expansion/hourglass focused character, making her an apple shape like a lot of the other girls would completely ruin that appeal.

2024-10-16 13:52:39 +0000 UTCHey, thank you for taking your time to write out your thoughts and suggestions. Feedback like this really helps me develop the game. Vicky and Caroline are both going to be like Hari in that aspect. Where you now get the option to study with Hari, in the next update it'll also have to option to go study with Vicky or Caroline. Amber's repeatable scenes will get reworked to have the new velvet shadows map and I'll probably also improve on the home part and the sex scenes. But, this will most likely not happen in the next update. I know many people love Rebecca and want to see more of her. Currently she is not set to get new content for a few more updates. Her path unlocks quite late in the game, and with the way it is set up she doesn't interfere with plans to get the game to a beta state for save compatibility. Because of those reasons you'll most likely not see new content for her until the game reaches beta. The pictures seen on the phone is a very late addition to this update. I personally really liked the idea of adding a bit of extra to the events before or after with some pictures and some text send on your phone. You can see those again by watching the whole event in the event viewer currently. Maybe I could implement something to view those images on your phone outside of the event viewer. But, first I want to get some poll going soon about if this feature is worth implementing more or not. Yeah the phone change is mostly getting the code right and working. Which was the hardest part of getting this done. Then expanding on it with it showing an image of the person messaging you is going to be the next step to making this better. It is just a matter of incrementally upgrading features to be better and easier to understand. The thing with pubic hair is that just like cellulite, fat faces and stretch marks it needs to be used in moderation. Not everyone likes these things, and I need to be careful to add it to a model. For Amber for example, I didn't have too much to lose. Most people didn't really like her too much/didn't stand out much. Because of that I can just add all the things on her, to make her stand out to the rest of the characters. Your suggestion with Caroline growing a bush when she goes more goth is a cool suggestion, I might do that, or poll that.

The continuation of the bunny bites girls were great. Unfortunately the new bonnie scene crashed my device. Not sure if others were having that problem as well. Overall great stuff. I might play through again before the dev blog so I can actually have some valid critiques, but great job overall.

Vicky, Caroline, Rebecca. Why not let Vicky and Caroline be options to study with like Hari? Actually be their partner for all three. It could make fore some fun options at university. I know you already had plans for Ambers sex scene so I won’t say much more on her Character because I already know it’s coming. Rebecca should have some more exposure like a revenge story on her. Like after the crap she put Bonnie through, have her really become addicted to our chocolates and start gaining tones of weight and constantly coming to us like an addict going through withdrawals. Then we make her tones more chocolates and watch her stuff herself silly. Could be a fun idea but even if you don’t use it she needs some more stages. Some of the girls send picks over the phone, but is there a way to view them again like remembering the good times? The phone change is a step in the right direction but you still need to open the phone to see who it is, so now it’s the same thing but with an extra step. Like I said it’s a step in the right direction but we need to have like caller ID of some sort like a pick of their face or something so we can determine if we want to pick up or not. Finally, and this could just be my own personal tastes so feel free to ignore it if you feel it’s unnecessary, but give some of the girls who haven’t got the unclothed option yet some pubic hair. A few of the girls already do but most are clean shaven which is nice but I like a bit of bush. It’s part of why I like Amber so much naked cause she has a lovely thatch. Caroline and Vicky especially would be great options for this. Caroline because it would add that juxtaposition when she’s still trying to be preppy and then makes more sense the more Goth she goes. Vicky because I feel it would make for an interesting sex scene where she takes charge and has us kneeling so all we see is her pubes because she’s so tall. Just a thought. In any case this was a great update. Keep up the great work.

Amber doesn't have scenes there, so maybe she could reference something else when talking about the MC in a roundabout manner?

The Special Costume Contest stream could benefit from new girls added IMO. Or at least have another stream with a second set of girls (Trista, Katrine, Daisy, Amber etc.) and it alternates with the other, similar to Lyn's streams.

If you can it makes her think she’s not that heavy and is more willing to indulge more vs if you aren’t strong enough and she will be less willing to indulge. I find getting as high as 40 clears you for most of those interactions

Otherwise the gameplay focus is much more on finishing a character's content so you no longer need to spend money on them.

2024-10-14 06:00:46 +0000 UTCAnyone having a problem extracting the Windows files? I've narrowed it down to the archive.rpa file. It errors out each time I try to extract (including using WinZip as a backup). If I try to skip it, the game doesn't make it past the initial startup animation before producing a log file. I'm not remotely savvy enough to understand what any of it said but regardless, the new version won't load without it. I had the idea of copying the previous build's archive.rpa file over but I noticed the new one is more than twice that file's size so I assume that's not going to work either. I've re-downloaded the file a few times and have the same problem each time.

If you want event X but not Y, there should be clear way of telling them apart. This way you have to click on the event to discover who is calling. Would it be too hard to have a different icon ? This is just 10% less annoying than the old system.

2024-10-13 18:37:37 +0000 UTCThe update is really amazing! You can see and also feel all the small improvements while playing. I immediately made a whole playthrough, and it really shows! The events are also amazing! I really liked all the Lisa events. She wasn't a favorite first but is steadily climbing up in my personal ranking. It's also nice to have more background from Marie, as I feel less like someone who is an intruder in her life lol. The soda streams and advertised streams from Leanne are also a nice change and are making those definitely less repetitive. I also liked the introduction of both new character, even though I have a little bit of a queasy feeling about Vicky. I felt some yandere vibes from her, not that I'm complainig about though... My favorite thing in this update were the Natalie, Maya and Luna events, as they are my favorite girls for now. I mean those outfits were just mindblowing! I really loved to see Mayas greedy side and to learn more about Natalie. I almost got heartbroken with Natalies little story. If Natalie had the possibility and I had the option to start a family with her, I would have done it in the game. I also love how her belly is taking up more space. She's really cute and, and I will repeat myself, definitely wifey material. One thing I want to recommend for a following update is to find a way to make the visits to Bonnie a little less repetitive. She's a great girl with a great story too, one of the best, but the visits with the chocolate feeding are making the experience a little bit boring. Keep up working on this masterpiece and sorry for this long comment.

2024-10-13 11:46:01 +0000 UTCThere are a few things you can do. You can go into the Saves folder inside the Fattening Career game folder. If you remove those saves you can bring it down to however many you want left (however, most of the saves will likely be in the persistent data folder when you have saves from multiple versions.) If you want to not only lose the saves but also be like it's your first time playing and not be able to skip dialogue you've already seen. You can delete the persistent data folder for Fattening Career. It depends on your operating system but the data folder for Fattening Career is located in the Renpy folder which will look something like this: RenPy>FatteningCareer-1650289318. Deleting the FatteningCareer-1650289318 folder and the saves folder (the one in the Fattening Career game folder) will make it like playing for the first time again. You will only be able to skip text once you have seen it in game.

I can't get over how twisted Luna is, and the whole contract with Roxie really begs for some sort of shift in the narrative. I would love to see Luna go from top-heavy to mostly apple. And maybe envious of Roxie becoming the shape she wants? Women are totally like that in real life - one of my exes had GGs outta high school and after gaining a significant amount of weight she went from being almost exclusively top heavy to very apple shaped with larger breasts.

2024-10-13 00:26:01 +0000 UTCA few bugs: - when feeding Trista to full, it sometimes remains on the final image and goes through dialogue that sounds like it's from a future stage 12 of walking up to her on the treadmill - at higher stages, when Katrine gets off the treadmill after first doing weights, it will cut to her in a different outfit for one image - I'm not sure the exact conditions for this one because I can't seem to force it to happen in my end-game save, but at least twice at the end of Katrine's sauna scene, it cut back to an earlier custom gym scene in the alternate striped/slashed outfit with the mesh sleeves - (not sure how long this has been in the game and not a huge deal since you can just cheat yourself money from the Settings menu) it seems like for certain custom events that happen at Bunny Bites, you don't actually get paid for that shift

I looking forward to higher stages on lisa and her story. The grinding is a little weaker, but sometimes very frustrating

2024-10-12 17:44:25 +0000 UTCThis is intentional and was changed in 0.09, I believe. There is no further reason to train Charisma, yet. Once you have high enough to talk to Katrine the choice is removed so that there's not an extra option filling up the MC's bedroom screen for no reason.
