Some years had passed by since the events with the High Evolutionary. Dispite the advancements he had achieved that were still lingering throughout the galaxy, his cruel, vile ways meant he had to be destroyed. That was one battle the raccoon was happy to have dealt with. Sadly he never did get that kiss from that fella and the memories have needed to be locked away deep inside. It was not something he cared to dwel on but from time to time, he finds himself thinking of that fella that he got to experience many mnay times over with. A connection that wont ever be forgotten but would have liked to have seen again, if anything, just to know if his feelings were real for each other or was just a product of a cruel experiment.

But today was yet another boring mission being dragged from one corner of the galaxy to the other. Quill seemed more excited about this drop point, which Rocket just found to be even more annoying.

"How can this guy be so happy to be at this dump of a planet and not exhausted like me", he thought. "Is this cause its my 'birthday' apparently? Why do humans get like this? plus I dont recall tellin' Star 'gay' lord " he snickerd to himself as he exited the ramp of his ship.
