insaneintherainmusic - "Tactical" (Video Game Map Theme)

If you didn't see my return "announcement" video, my next big project is going to be an album of original music based on video game music archetypes / tropes! I'm doing this to stretch out my composition chops, and also build a portfolio for myself of original compositions, of which I don't have too many!
For this tune, I chose a map-themed tune that's something like you might hear in a tactics game, like Fire Emblem, Advance Wars, or Final Fantasy Tactics (the latter of which I am a HUGE fan of, man I miss that game). I also used the rainstick in a video (finally!), and a newly-acquired djembe, which I will go over in the next Patreon monthly vlog I make after returning to YouTube!
Lastly, since this is an original composition, I've included the audio downloads for the song as part of this post! Enjoy :)

News: "Revered Jazz Artist Returns with a Banger." Ooh, I love this tune. I can hear it fitting in with Advance Wars: Dual Strike (AW are basically my favorite tactical games; I'm playing Black Hole Rising right now). I'd like to try and arrange it in that style, if that's okay! I can't guarantee something real good, but I'd like to try. Can't wait for the next release!
