Jess is staying home since she's not feeling well. She was nauseous when she woke up this morning and has been in and out of the bathroom ever since. My mind is occupied with several things, and all of them are important.
When I reach The Convention Center, and the meeting of representatives of the 500 Guilds occurs, I'll release a file of information I've created.
The information contained in the file is everything I've learned about The Parasite and The Primeval Inherent. The Aeternus Universe's player base isn't aware that The Parasite has a hivemind master. When they learn this critical information, many things will change.
Namely, how they plan to deal with it, The Parasite is acting as a sort of space zombie, and nothing other than The Coda Arrey is known to stop it. However, I'm not sharing any information about The Primordium or my connection to them.
Those secrets are best left with me. As I'm driving, I get a call, and the caller appears on the screen in my car. It's Jess, and I'm unsure if I should answer this. She's been hormonal and moody lately, and that's been a pain in my neck.
I'll be returning to The Aeternus Universe tomorrow, and the best thing I can do for the player base in helping me stop The Parasite and The Primeval Inherent is to give the information out.
I hope everything goes well. I can make all the calculations and predictions I want, but human behavior and emotion tend to be variables that are hard to account for.
It's not a second later that I click the answer button. I'd rather deal with this now than the next time I'm out of my gaming pod, and she's still holding a grudge cause I ignored her call. She's pregnant and volatile. It's best to stay on her good side.
"You heading to The Convention Center like you planned this morning?"
Her voice sounds weak and tired. Probably exhausted after all the puking this morning.
"Yeah, there is something the player base needs to know if we're to avoid a game-over scenario. I'll be back around 10:30. So it won't be long."
She nods her head and immediately shuts off the call. Probably going to take something that'll help her stomach. I'm responsible for what's been done to her, but she's responsible too. Nothing like this would've happened if she didn't pick The Arn Zael race.

The meeting is starting soon, and from what I've come to learn, everyone is as nervous as the others. The Aeternus Universe has become the only game anyone plays anymore, and because of that, everyone is desperate to keep it safe. Not that I blame them.
That's precisely what my guild is here to do, as well. I make my way to my chair and sit down. Looking down at the stage for the leading speaker. It's the Vice-Guild Leader Kelo Parkis from The Unravelled Charters.
That's one of the top 15 guilds in the world, and they've volunteered to start this convention off. I thought it would've been someone higher on the list, but not like I can say anything. I'm a captain from the 467th-ranked guild, Gilded Blades.
I'm the only one in our guild with experience in politics and meetings like this, so they sent me.
"I'm glad that you've all answered the call today. We face a dire game-over scenario in the game we've all come to love. It's changed our world in more ways than one, and it's our responsibility to keep it alive."
This is going to be one long meeting.

I've hacked into the Wi-fi signal, and it's time that I sent the file to everyone. With a simple press of a button on my phone, everyone's phone dings. Many look around strangely, and they pull out their phones. Beginning to read.
Before the chaos can break out, I leave The Convention Center and get back into my car. As I'm driving out of the parking lot, I can hear the faint yells and screams of people fighting in The Convention Center.
That's taken care of.
