Jess is still on the couch and watching TV. It's not any news program. There won't be any updates for a few more hours. So right now, she's watching a documentary. Earth has never been healthier than it is right now.
It's thanks to the many machines that have been invented to create clean air and restore the ozone. Forest fires are under control, and while the population is high. It's not negatively impacting the world.
Earth is run by clean energy. Why I'm talking about this is simple. The documentary she's watching is about the wildlife in the jungles of South America. They wouldn't exist if Humanity didn't go green. It's something that a lot of people are proud of.
"Are you having any cravings yet? I can get you something to eat while I'm in here."
I'd like to be a good boyfriend to Jess. Making her some food tonight would be nice. We've spent the whole day together already.
"I want some hamburgers, fries, and chicken tenders."
I lift my head out of the fridge and look in her direction.
She's looking back at me.
A completely serious look on her face. I don't have the stuff to cook hamburgers and fries. Not to mention chicken tenders.
"I take it you want to order from somewhere."
All she does is take out her phone from her pocket and start to call somewhere. She places an order for both of us and pays for it. After about 10 minutes, a ring at the doorbell causes me to get off the couch and open it.
A drone is floating their with our order. I get a tip from the draw next to the front door.
"Here you go, little bud."
It's little lights blink in gratitude, and it flies off.
I'm a generous tipper.
I bring the food to the couch, and she rips the bags out of my hands and starts digging through them for her order. I know the science about what's going on in her body, but that doesn't mean I have experience with it.
Normally, I'd make a joke about this. But I feel like that wouldn't be reciprocated right, given her state.
I get my food out of the bag too. And I eat my food like a civilized human being, unlike the monster beside me with my ketchup on her top lip.
"This is what I needed. Oh, god... It's so good..."
She's talking to that hamburger like she's having sex with it. She's said similar things to me.
"Be careful. You might make that hamburger pregnant."
I can't stop the lousy joke from coming out. She looks at me sideways. Amused, to be sure, but not laughing.
"You should be more worried about that than me. You're the one with the dick."
She talks with her mouth full, and as she swallows what's in her mouth at the moment. She proceeds to stuff it with fries.
The documentary she was watching comes back from a commercial, and I start to get drawn in too. I love to learn about Earth. Even with my mind, I haven't learned everything. I didn't take the time to learn about Earth after gaining my Primordium genetics.
Speaking of genetics. I wonder what our baby will look like. It'll be humanoid, for sure. But a mix between Arn Zael and Primordium DNA hasn't happened before.
There is something special growing in Jess.
I'm hoping for a son. But I'll be just as happy with a daughter.

Never in my life have I been throwing up earlier in the day and stuffing my face in the later part of the day. If I knew pregnancy would be this hard, I wouldn't have wrapped my legs around Scott.
But my race...
AGH!
Fuck my race!!
I hate the Arn Zael!!
"You okay? You don't look so good."
Scott takes me out of my hormonal storm and chaotic thoughts.
"Oh, shut up. You're the reason I'm in this mess."
He raises an eyebrow as I look at him.
"I can take a hint. You're having a hard time with the hormones. How does a massage sound? Feet swollen? Shoulders sore?"
I can't be mad at Scott. Not when he's always this helpful and loving when we're together. I'm gonna enjoy these couple of days we've got together.
