Aurora has been... What do you call it? Overly overt in expressing her frustration... "WHAT THE FUCK WAA THE POINT OF MAKING A LOCK THIS COMPLEX ON SOMETHING THAT WAS NEVER MEANT TO BE FOUND!!!" She screams from her terminal, and I can't help but smile at her temporary misery. We have a weird relationship. One that thrives on pain and understanding.

She's been having a pretty hard time with the lock on the Weapons Depot we retrieved from Kelromera's core. "Mind keeping it down over there? I'm trying to watch The Inter-Galactic News!" She remains silent, but her anger-filled gaze locks onto me. I turn my head back and look at the hologram in front of me. Showing an Arn Zael behind a desk.

Whatever Scott is doing, it's way better than sitting here and listening to Aurora. The only thing entertaining me right now is these news reports. "There have been several conflicting reports about what's happening with Imypra and what's being done about it. Many scientists are claiming that this isn't a situation that has a fast solution." What a load of crap.

The scientific community doesn't want to do anything cause they want to study the Parasite for as long as possible. If they knew what they were truly up against, they wouldn't waste any time talking about situations and how fast they can be done. "I SWEAR TO GOD!!! IF I'M LOCKED OUT ONE MORE TIME! I'M GOING TO FREAK THE FUCK OUT!!" I have to try my hardest to hold back my laughter.

Aurora hasn't met something she couldn't solve or fix, which is testing her skills and patience far more than anything I've ever seen. "In other news, the strike teams from within the Impyra Galaxy are reporting that activity across Impyra is slowing down. Why this is, they don't know." I lean up in my seat and rewind to listen to that again.

Why would the activity from the Parasite and The Primeval Inherent slowdown? Is it preparing for something... "You hearing this, Aurora..." She releases a long sigh and pops up on the terminal next to me. Listening to the report again. She doesn't react in a negative way, only appearing back at the Weapons Depot's lock. She's working on it from here.

I don't think there is much time left until the Parasite is free and is spreading across the universe. "Don't worry about that, Durado. The Quarantine Zone is buying us time, and I'll have this piece of shit unlocked by the time Scott gets back. We'll be ready." I hear the confidence in her words, and I have all the faith in the universe regarding Scott and her ability to solve problems.

~~~(POV: The Primeval Inherent)~~~

~~~(Location: Empyrean, Impyra Galaxy)~~~

He was here... The Primordium that is my key to Godhood was here... "Please... We don't know anything... Just... let us die..." Two scientists that I've assimilated partially are absorbed into one of the many tentacles in front of me. Their names are Pleiknore and Meiklare. Their memories are valuable, but they won't give them up. They're fighting me.

They're bonded, their minds connected are keeping strong to keep me out. Such rarity, and it shows that they're protecting him. "Tell me... Where is the Primordium! Where is he!" My frustration grows with every passing moment from their resistance. "Tell me who he is!!" They know about him. I've seen enough to know they ran into someone special.

All the struggling in the universe won't free them from me, and it's only a matter of time before I get what I want. "We don't know who you're talking about... We don't know..." Their voices are twisted and full of goreish pain. Nothing will stop your suffering until I learn what you're hiding from me!! I will know everything within your minds!!

~~~(POV: Scott Autumn)~~~

~~~(Location: Bathtub with Jessica)~~~

Jessica and I have been silently enjoying the warm and relaxing water. And the massive bath is finally finding a use, in my opinion. "I'm starting to get pruney to I'm getting out. Want me to go and get us some food?" I step out of the bathtub first, and I'd like some food made from a restaurant. She smiles and starts to get out too.

After we're done hanging out today, I'll hop back on and check to see if Aurora is done yet.
