Getting Off While Aurora Accesses The Weapons Depot (Page 154)

~~~(Location: Getting out of Gaming Pod, Home)~~~

My body slightly pops, and I take a deep breath. That was something to remember for the rest of your life. After we were finished with Kelromera, we had a visitor. A Player Company by the name of Running Rogue Inc. was looking for us. "Aurora will have her hands full for a while." The Weapons Depot is locked, and even with me. It won't give access, so Aurora is going to hack into it.

While she's busy trying to figure out how to get into that Weapons Depot, I'm going to spend a couple of days in the real world. She said that's how long it would take to crack the code. As much as I want to stay on, there isn't much for me to do. Aurora has everything automated, which leaves pretty much nothing for me to do.

I enter into the living room, and I see that Jessica is on the couch and is watching a report on what's going on in The Aeternus Universe. "Well, look who just got off." I smile as I join her on the couch and take a seat next to her. She wraps her arms around me, and she moves to take up the spot on my lap. We share a quick couple of kisses.

She runs her hands through my hair in satisfaction and happiness. "How long have you been off for?" She smiles and informs me that she's only been off for a couple of minutes herself. She grabs my hand and places it on the lower end of her stomach. I know what she's doing. This is where our baby is growing, and she's 4 weeks into her pregnancy.

It's something that I've gotten used to thinking, and I've accepted this. She has accepted it too, and that's a good thing. "You know, there was a crazy thing that happened in the Techese Galaxy... My company was tracking a Dreadnaught of some kind, but we've been fired." I hide my surprise like a master, and that's something I didn't expect, even with all my mental gifts.

Aurora is the one that went through all the information about the people on board Rogues Retreat. Meaning she omitted to tell me. Interesting. Why would she do that? She's smart enough to connect the dots, and she's supposed to tell me important information. "That sucks. I'm sorry that fell apart for you. I was busy tracking down a bounty." That's a bald-faced lie.

I hate keeping the truth from Jessica, but there are things that I don't want her knowing for her own safety and the safety of our unborn child. "How is that line of work anyway? You said something about working with a guy named Durado? I did some research on him myself, and he's pretty famous. Like, really famous." Durado is famous for many different things.

Her asking me about my 'business' as a bounty hunter is something that I expected, and I've already prepared likely stories. "We've done a lot of work together around Impyra before that mysterious Parasite consumed it." The less I seem to know about what's going on, the better. While it's impossible to hide my intelligence. Jess doesn't know I'm a Primordium.

~~~(Location: On the Couch, Home)~~~

My mind and body are swimming with pregnancy hormones, and I'm feeling a bit frisky. "Hey... How about you and me have some fun... I could use some lovin' from the man that put a baby in me..." I can tell that my tone and temptations have the effect that I want. Despite the cool head my little brother always has, he's still a man with desires.

It doesn't take him long to pick me up in his arms and take me towards the bedroom. The closer we get, the wetter my panties start to get. Why pregnancy hormones make you feel certain ways, I don't know. But I'm not going to complain. I know what this is like. It's almost as strong as those feelings and pheromones I had thanks to my race, Arn Zael.

That's the whole reason I've been knocked up with my brother's baby. He softly lays me on our bed and takes off his shirt. "I could use a release as much as you... So let's enjoy ourselves and take our sweet time with this... Lord knows I need it." Oh fuck... It's hard to stay as composed as I am when he talks like that. I just need to let things develop.
