Update this week, previous delay explanations, and future info!

Hi everyone! This is Elise!

If you're getting a little antsy about the next update, I'm suuuuper happy to announce that wait is basically over! I'll talk a little bit about our delays and the problems we had and how they won't happen again in detail for some credibility. 

THE APOLOGY:

This update, as a lot of people know, was intended to be posted about two months ago, with Kejpi and Elise's houses included. Since, well, I am the latter, Sal and I decided to split up and do them separately. I wrote for and programmed the tower, while he did Kejpi's house. 

I explain this because it's really telling of why this fell apart. Sal and I both still have school, and tackling individual things wasn't the best idea. I'm not a very good programmer, and was tearing my hair out trying to handle the fancy ideas I had, while Sal was periodically stumped by writers block that I had ideas to work around. We only finished this month because we stopped and talked to eachother: he taught me about parallel processes in RPGMaker and I wrote a specific scene that stumped him for two weeks for him.

We fell out of touch balancing our misaligned workloads and academic life and the update fell into the cracks as a result. We're sorry.

THE ANNOUNCEMENT:

But no more! I've finished Elise's tower, and Sal only has a fraction of a scene left in Kejpi's tree. I've sent the relevant files to him, and after thorough discussion, we've come to the conclusion that the project could launch as early as in two days on Saturday (For early access Patrons). 

I don't want to shoot ourselves in the foot though, by promising it that early though, so let me just say that it'll launch some time in the week instead of, you know, saying Saturday specifically. I do hope you understand the mistakes we made, we're only human. But we can learn from those lessons not to repeat them again. Please don't lose faith in our scheduling, and look forward to playing this much delayed update soon!

FUTURE INFORMATION:

It's going to be a busy week for this Patreon! Before the update launches, we still have some more things to talk about. We'll be holding a poll for the rest of the content in the Mansion Update, followed by a special surprise announcement from yours truly. See you all soon!
