I finally finished this! It was a grueling effort and I hope it comes through in the footage, none of which looks exactly like I hoped it would, but hey, it's not like I have Linus Sebastian's production team.

Cool video! I'd be curious to learn if storing the color signal at double the speed of the luminance had any effect on quality.
