I wrote that song about a breakup with someone who didn't deserve the love I gave, but recongnising it takes two to tango. You can hear that demo on the Candlelight - EP.
But this song is called "Step By Step". It's about long term friendships and how you come into each others lives, get distant but always love them no matter the distance in place, or time.
