I think women specifically in the industry are shamed into changing up styles and vibes and being new and exciting all the time, even though they are fresh into music, but thats another convo entirely

2025-05-31 00:02:46 +0000 UTCTbh i dont love brittany's new music incredibly, but with her and Audrey Hobert I feel like weve seen so many people be so harsh on these new artists simply because theyre already famous. Critisism is valid of course, but you have to remember that this is brittanys second song, and its not exactly like music is he main gig. I think she probably just went in, said she liked hozier etc etc and that style, and went for it. While it could be cleaned up and evolved of course, I think its harsh to judge her stylistic choices when shes only two songs into her career, let her settle in a little more, y'know?
