I think it’s my personal album of the year (though I think culturally there are two others I’d put above it)! Doechii just keeps getting better and her authenticity gives me the same fresh, grounded, human feeling as Chappell does!! I can’t wait to see where she goes next

Doechii's music is culturally Black American, but also Southern Black American, but also FLORIDA af. I'm so proud of her. She really is putting on for us. I'd also encourage folks to check out the film Earth Mama. Doechii is in it and she's really good (honestly shes so talented), but the movie itself is just really beautiful and not many people have heard or talked about it.
