ZSS Snippet 3

Ya know, it feels like there's not as much here animated this time, but that's because these scenes were so much more intricate than the last week's. Not only that, Samus being far bigger than I expected.

But what has come out looks great! The ONLY problem I've had is that models don't re-import with updated shape keys from Blender. So I gotta use a new Samus model version for the editing of the butt part. (removed sharp zones) Sucky part about that is all the lightning parenting I did will have to be copied over. Ugh.

But it should be worth it since I don't want to look back at a vid and think that I should've done this or that.

Speaking of, remind myself to add screen shake once this is all over.

Hm... This is the main thing I was worried about when it came to how big she got. Many scenes ahead required restructuring. And you're totally right that her head is inside the building. I'm still trying to figure that out and might have her stand up with help of a building instead of doing the whole hand reach thing. Maybe a Stomp reaching scene where she puts her heel in there instead? Idk. I'll think about it some more over the weekend, but would love suggestions. The beginning shot was mostly to show the difference at the train scene from the last snippet so the lighting improvements can be seen. I also believe I reduced the motion blur to default settings. (Unless those got set back somehow) I'm also thinking of adding a few more perspectives of the scene where she collapses the railway. Like other things that got affected.

Hyena don’t forget those screen shakes 😉. Also really interested in knowing what you plan follow up with once this is done because this already looks tough to beat.

Good ideas and execution, but the end of the snippet doesn't respect the geography of the scene. We see her right arm over the building, then snake through an alley way. Assuming it was the street she was staring down, her head would have gone through the building she bumped into. The scenes work independently but not together. That said the video has been *great* so far, loved the crawling under scene. I'm hoping there's a shoe shot to compliment the last bit. Also hoping there is a slight bit more of a lead-in at the start of the clip to provide context, but it will be OK without it. It is starting to get out of control though for the city size. I'm not sure where you are going to go after this snippet. Keep it up man. :D
