Trapper Knights of Qoth rules preview
Added 2023-04-12 21:55:49 +0000 UTCI've been busy hacking away at the workshop rules booklet (turns out writing how to create a PT set is more involved than just creating one), and that's really, really close to being ready for patron consumption. One of the things I'm working on for this project is a fillable PDF for all those custom Pocket-Tactics factions that could come out of the workshop, and I've settled on something somewhat simplified.
Ultimately, people will ask for a printer-friendly version, so I figured with the initial time and energy I can put into this thing, we should probably start there. Unlike the original sheets from the first run of sets in 2020, these cards are formatted in standard poker size, so you can either print the full rules sheet for reference (the most useful option if you're not planning on mixing and matching units from other sets) or you can print the cards, cut them out, and they'll match the sets with color versions size-wise.
You can check out the WIP rules sheet in the image above. This faction was built using the "Myriad Realms" workshop rules which, in its current form, has over 80 special abilities codified (and that number will grow over the course of the beta run, I'm sure). We'll be dropping this set to patrons early (before we launch the workshop), so keep an eye out for that. We'll have the City Unsleeping set coming before too long as well.
