Itch game portal problems and solutions

If you follow the news, you are aware that on July 24, the gaming portal Itch removed more than 20,000 games and de-indexed all adult games.

This is a big problem for me as a developer because Itch brought in a lot of traffic. Maybe you even found my game on Itch.

I don't think this will end, and other major platforms for game developers may follow suit. It's despicable, it's bad. But I have a solution to this problem.

I will have to make a completely SWF version of the game Lust Hunter without adult content for public access. It will be called Lust Hunter SWF.

But with one special feature. The game will have a button to update to the NSFW version of the game with all current content, using my servers and online updates. To protect against accidental updates, I will use a special code that will need to be entered in the game.

This will allow my game Lust Hunter to be listed on the Itch portal without breaking their rules.

This will not affect the current version of the game for patrons. It will be released in the same way as before. But I will need your help. Since this will be a new game for Itch, I would like to ask you to be active and leave comments about the game when it is released. This will be a great help to me.

By the way, the next version of Lust Hunter 0.122.0 will be released on August 15-17. In it, I plan to improve combat performance and rewrite the game code for maximum performance, just as I did with real-time movement on the global map. In addition, I will try to fix the few bugs that still remain in the game.

This will be the final fix for the game's performance issues, after which, starting in September, I will be releasing updates with a lot of new content. I will add new quests, new events with NPCs, new animations, and a new location.

Announcement Hunter 5 tier new feature

Now this level of support will be available to other game developers.

Previously, Hunter 5 tier was not a particularly popular subscription level. This was because I couldn't offer any really cool features for it. And the price was too high. So I decided to make Hunter 5 tier a level for game developers like me who need help. In the near future, I will release 3 assets for the Renpy engine that will allow you to implement the same functionality as in my game Lust Hunter.

These will be separate modules written in Python that you can add to your game. They will be available by subscription or sold separately using the Patreon pay-per-post feature. They will also be available on Itch.
