Good news for all android users

In this post link I told you that in 2024 the renpy developer promised to release a version that would bypass the 2gb limitation.
At the moment the prerelease is out, which means that Renpy 8.2 release is not long away.
As soon as it is released, I will be able to merge the 3 android versions into one.
What does this mean and what are the advantages for andoid?
- Full quality uncompressed animations
- One version instead of 3
- Switching between game characters with different genders is available
- All content in one version as on Win/Linux or Mac
- ~100mb gameloader size
How will it work?
I haven't tested this yet, but it looks simple. Instead of the current versions, there will be one version about 100mb in size.
When you run it on android, the downloader will offer to download the main combined version of the game at ~4gb from my server.
Then depending on your subscription level, you'll be able to upgrade to the latest or prelatest version of the games.
Sounds easy, doesn't it?
Waiting for the new version to be released, hopefully it will be soon.
