Thanks for the Questions Mark. 2.2.2 is the complete required software version of the recalls. I would message the email in the video regarding 2.2.2 if you never had a chance to get it. If the FOA were to find workarounds for situations that arise before American Lease and Indigo does, then there could be advantages there. Also, I don’t know how the forums work within the FOA, so if you’re satisfied with that communication, there’s obviously some benefits to having access to the forums. The FOA has hacked into the car, and made an offline application to access the vehicle. It could have an impact to the IP rights because the FOA is not working within any license or agreement to access the car’s systems. This could result in legal action against the FOA, and, potentially every owner with unauthorized software. I can’t think of any reasons not to reconnect the car. Some people have expressed concerns to me regarding data security, but all of the vulnerabilities that existed with cloud access were deliberately allowed due to a desire to help people solve problems with the car while recalls were deployed, and while the FOA was cooperating with the other parties involved in connectivity. These vulnerabilities are now gone. Finally, 2.2.3 is not a recall. It is a set of bug fixes that Indigo has developed for the car. It is the first of the series of software benefits that come with the $50/month connectivity. That’s all I know for now. Happy to clarify if you have additional questions

Thanks for creating this video Adam. Admittedly I don't always follow the Fisker drama so I really appreciate you helping make sense of this for the community. At face value this sounds more legit than what the FOA is offering. A couple of questions: 1. Re. the OTA update: Isn't every owner required to be updated to v2.2.3 timing TBD whether you're part of a third party subscription plan or not? I'm still on 2.2 (1/3). 2. What are some benefits to staying with both FOA and OV Loop? 3. What are some reasons not to use FOA besides the added cost? 4. What are some reasons not to use OV Loop besides the added cost? 5. Why would owners not be upgraded directly to v2.2.3 under OV Loop but rather a lesser version (ex. 2.2.1) instead?
