Updates!

Hey everyone! Sorry for the long delay on a couple of things here. Very shortly, I'll explain why things have been slower. I've been sort of depressed.

That's not everything, of course, not to make excuses for myself, but here are a few reasons why I haven’t been able to get Unglued out, update the end cards, or give you guys more attention.

First, I was moving! This was a harder move than usual for reasons I can’t really go into. Safe to say, I sort of destroyed my mental health in the process. I’m finally starting to reach a sort of balance, and my life feels okay again.

Second was the mental side. Content is always a roller coaster, but for the past two months-ish I’ve been pretty demotivated to do anything, really. I’ve been trying to keep up, getting some videos out, keeping up with life, but that week I took off was just a full work week of me getting my new apartment in order so that I could finally work again. I’ve felt lost and depressed, honestly, and it has hit me pretty hard. Usually I can power through it, but this time was bad.

I also felt bad and guilty because you guys deserve better! I want the Patreon to be a sick place for you to get exclusive stuff with me!! Thank you to those who have supported me regardless during a really tough spot.

I’m finally feeling better, and I’m starting to put more processes in place (finding a thumbnail person, offloading Unglued to my editors, getting reacts back up, yugioh feels good again, thank god for Genesys).

I have a lot of exciting plans for the Patreon and my content!

Of course, you’ll be getting Unglued before everyone else. End cards are being updated today, so the next batch of videos will feature you in them.

Second, we’ll be doing a Discord watch party for the movie War of the Worlds soon. I want to coordinate with Leah Asimov and others so we can have a fun time in the communities together, but patrons will have better access and an exclusive chat with us if I can figure out how to make it work.

Third, please come to the stream (twitch.tv/lukevonkarma) in two days on Oct 1st at 6 PM EST! We’ll be doing the funniest yugioh anime clip competition! We’ll be watching the funniest yugioh anime clips from the bona fide Yugioh anime (any season), so grab your funniest vids, and just mention that you’re a patron and you’ll get dibs on the link first (I’ll post it here early and in Discord a few hours before the stream).

Lastly, we’ll be doing ANYTHING GOES yet again at the end of October! Send me any replay you want, not yugioh related, whether that be your cool fighting game combos, your speedruns, your hitless roaring knight fights, whatever! Patrons will get priority, of course, and you can submit first here early in the coming weeks.
