Ep4 Update 21/04/2024

Happy Sunday!

This week I've been busy finishing Kaori's route!

Next I've been busy with Miyu and Kasumi. Both (ALMOST) finished!

I found myself spending a lot longer on Kasumi as I wasn't happy with the first draft of the writing. I wanted to build up to her becoming your girlfriend in a more natural way. Up until now, your 'dates' with Kasumi have not been very romantic - rather they've been more business oriented. SO lots of rewrites. But it will be worth it!

Let's just say, dating Kasumi, you'll learn a lot more about her past.

 Miyu is still about experiencing things she couldn't experience before. But she starts to grow a bit jealous of Saya, Manami and Yuka all using the serum at school, while Miyu herself still needs to stay in a wheelchair.

This week I have also worked on ironing out bugs relating to the girlfriend mechanic as it wasn't designed to be swapping out girls like this -which is a testament to how far the project has come! Didn't expect to have more than 3 main girls and now we're at (checks notes...) 9!? different girls to date!

(Most) sex scenes in ep4 onward will be related to girlfriend only scenes.

New mechanic alert!

I added new 'rainy days' - I'll let these screenshots do the talking.

 Rainy days are a good chance to do skill boosting activities. I'll flesh it out more in future episodes, but for now they serve to give everyone a chance to improve their stats. Rainy days also from a design standpoint, allows me to make more days pass.

Also there are more classroom scenes with a chance to boost stats if you answer questions correctly.

And now the question on everyone's mind. When is release.

I hope to be able to iron out and release the finished ep4 in the next 2-3 weeks. The time I get to work is spotty with the baby and full time job. Also Dubai was flooded. (I live here for the moment) and it caused a bit of a disruption to daily life.

(fortunately this is not my car) Here is what the view from my window looked like. Highways were all transformed into oceans for a good 2 days and still there are abandoned cars and pockets of water littering the roads. Wild!

Anyway, hopefully you can see from the updates these past weeks progress is swift and there is a ton of content to look forward to!

I've talked about releasing a pre-release beta with only the finished paths available. Comment below if you'd like that and I'll release what I've got done so far, this week. 

Though personally I think waiting for a completed ep4 will be a better experience, I know you've all been waiting super patiently. I can only hope you're ready to wait a little longer 🙏
