[Hereafter] Chapter CCXVIII: Head of the Snake
Added 2025-11-08 14:19:59 +0000 UTCPlenty of people were sure they knew what was going on with a certain someone from very early on, and I'm sure some of you will say, "I knew it! I knew it all along!" when you read this chapter. My attempts at subtlety and subterfuge, it seems, were simply not powerful enough to obscure my plans completely.
Of course, even if you were absolutely certain of the who long ago, I'm sure the why will prove to be much more of a surprise. That question will be answered in the upcoming chapters. We're very nearly there, everyone. Three or four chapters it should be before this Singularity is over and done with. I've still got a few threads to unwind and a few mysteries to unravel for you.
And something I'm sure none of you were expecting is just two chapters away.

EDIT: *Actually reads the above author's notes* Now I'm even more confused as to her motivations, though Tinkertech BS could explain how Taylor didn't notice any physical inconsistencies from the actual (re: PHH's) Coil during their first meeting. At this point? My current theories run the gamut from Noelle clone (with the original Tattletale being forced to work for the clone against her will) to a parallel world Lisa/Sarah with a different backstory, but gained the memories of Tattletale.
