2025-07-30 12:52:43 +0000 UTCNot to sound like a nob, but I thought it was obvious the baby would save the day. I’ve seen the Incredibles. You guys even talked about it. Thanks for the review

2025-07-29 15:14:18 +0000 UTCLuke, I just assumed the logic was that a separate universe HAS to have a teleportation device. So therefore the entire earth goes there. Although that still wouldn’t work. Which means Reed and the others are panicking because of what is about to happen.

2025-07-27 18:21:34 +0000 UTCThe teleportation storyline was a bit stupid and completely unnecessary and a waste of time..especially considering they didn’t go through with it in the end.. the amount of manpower, money and resources it would have taken each country to build those things, I’m surprised they agreed to it and didn’t revolt against the F4 further…just wish they could have cut that part out and dedicate that extra time to focusing on the backstory of Shabah la or Galactus.

2025-07-27 03:49:45 +0000 UTC"I would be sad if the baby died but I feel more compassion towards the robot," with very little irony, is an incredible Oli David quote

2025-07-26 09:41:34 +0000 UTCSPOILER I really took agains't the near death of Sue. To me, it didn't feel bold and cleaver, it felt like they threatened the fidging of an iconic character. Which granted I did buy into so it's effective in that sense. But it was a decision I took agaisn't so vicerally and quickly that my relief when shes brought back wasn't because I was invested. It was relief they didn't make a baffilingly strange decision. Individually, I like a lot of the disparate elements in this film, but don't feel they come together. Sue is shown to be really cleaver until they start undermining her character. She goes from giving her speech about not wanting to sacrifice her baby to being fully willing in the space of 10 mins. Great idea, naff execution, like a lot of things in the film.

2025-07-25 16:24:05 +0000 UTCI 100% agree that the plan to teleport the planet has so many logic holes in it that aren’t event addressed in any way. Just like Luke, I kept thinking, “What about the moon?” I imagine they were going to a solar system with a star, so the sun would be replaced, but the moon is kind of important too. Lol Also, the power problem is not really solved in any way. He blows a power grid in New York City to teleport an egg a short distance. The whole world conserving a bit of power for a couple months is NOT going to be enough to teleport the planet across the galaxy. The math just isn’t mathing there. Oh, and also, if Doom exists in the world, as he clearly does from the end credits and nods to Latveria throughout the film, why wouldn’t he be trying to save the work too??? He’s as smart as Reed, and despite mostly being a villain, he has always stepped up try to save the world if it’s in danger. He wants to rule the world, and he needs the works to survive to do that. Oh, and that end credit scene with him sucked. Not only was it a big nothing burger, but his mask and cloak looked like they were from a cheap costume shop. WTF was that?

2025-07-25 03:37:31 +0000 UTCI loved it. Outside of Sue’s eyes, constantly looking like she was about to cry, this movie was perfect!

2025-07-24 23:37:39 +0000 UTCFor me I had this as a 4 star and Superman 3.5. Partly because this is to me what Superman is to Oli but also I just thought this told it's story better from beginning to end.

2025-07-24 18:05:26 +0000 UTCLUKE: Of Netflix's original series I'd say it's among their biggest. Plus its worth noting that Quinn's casting was still at the time when the popularity of his character from Stranger Things was at its highest. It's not there anymore, but it was when he was cast.

2025-07-24 17:11:51 +0000 UTCIs stranger things considered a hot property? Not a slight, genuinely curious. I've never seen it.
