A lot more Zack Snyder in that book than we al remembered. Speaking of whom, I think there's this mental block in the heads of filmmakers around this time around adapting a comic book. There's so much lip service paid to the medium, but it really seems like the creators have little-to-no respect for it. They're more concerned perfectly re-creating panels than getting to the heart and soul of the actual characters.
