After much planning, hard work, and testing, we are proud to announce the release of our second major content pack! In this update, you will find that we have continued to deepen the tactical depth and possibilities for each race, and should continue to give players a more fun, meaningful, and exciting campaign and MP experience.
New content included in this update includes new and changed units as follows:
Vampire Counts:
- Krell, the Lord of Undeath: Overhauled and improved! Once summoned by Kemmler, he will no longer degrade over time like a pathetic weak summon. He is now larger, and physically imposing, with Heroic Killing blow to crush his enemies, and he never tires with immunity to fatigue.
Paired with Heinrich Kemmler's Lore of Vampires, and new magical aura, "Shadow of the Lichmaster", which weakens and erodes enemies, they are a truly frightening combination!
( This is the first version of Krell, and we likely will make even more substantial changes to him in the near future. We are waiting to see what CA changes and adds to him in the upcoming Norsca DLC patch.)
- Blood Dragon Warriors (An elite band of Vampire warrior infantry, highly skilled and versatile).
- Black Grail Knights (Very rare, but immensely powerful; this band of Undead mounted heroes crush the enemy before them. Obtained only from conquering Couronne in the campaign).
- Zombie Dragon (A rare and powerful undead creature, with deadly poison and melee attacks - this is the striking hammer to the undead fodder anvil).
- Some overhauled existing Vampire Count units, including a closer to lore Terrorgheist (now with a deadly shriek ability), and some revamped RoR units (new Vereks Reavers - changed to Hell Knights; Direpack now transformed into large and deadly Doom Wolves etc).
- New reskin for RoR Grave Guards and Black Knights thanks to Dryrain.
Beastmen Breyherds:
The Dark Gods have unleashed their dedicated servants to the Breyherds, and their enemies will suffer! Each God aligned Bestigor now gives the Beastmen potent tactical potential to destroy their enemies.
- Khorngors (Large and physically dominant, these beasts dominate infantry combat, and revel in the slaughter of their enemies, cutting them apart with their dual axes).
- Tzaangors (Blessed and mutated by Tzeentch, these creatures murder enemies with magically enchanted blades, and weaken them with a magical aura that feeds on magic - they work great alongside Brey Shamans, or as a counter to units with a weakness to magic).
- Pestigors (Blessed by Papa Nurgle, these creatures are very tough and resilient, and are able to outlast their foes with shields, high physical resistance, regenerating health, and poisonous attacks).
- Slaangors (Blessed by Slaanesh, these creatures are swift and agile, skillfully wielding brutal polearms. When their hunt begins, few infantry units can escape them).
Wood Elves:
- Shadowdancers (elite spellcasting version of Wardancers, they wield shadow magic, and are great complimenting magic builds).
- Eternal Wardens (elite front line support, good at bolstering a strong front line so ranged units can do their job).
- Wildwood Wardens (elite guerrilla fighters, with deadly utility; they excel in ambush tactics, and supporting your guerrilla fighters - particularly Waystalkers, Wildwood Rangers and Waywatchers.)
- New hair colors for all Eternal type units thanks to Dryrain.
New Campaign Mechanics and improvements:
- New Chaos Marks for Beastmen and Chaos Warrior Lords and Heroes! Choose between the Mark of Khorne, Nurgle, Tzeentch, and Slaanesh which alter both your characters and their armies.
- More dangerous invasions from the Warriors of Chaos and Norscan Tribes!
- Improved skills for Durthu in the campaign
- Chaos ruins spread corruption
- Updated army stances effects.
Additionally, after the success of our first tournament, and gathering much feedback from our experienced players, we have made many balance changes and improvements to units and magic, which should give all players an improved experience in both sp and mp; as well as many more improvements made behind the scenes. You can now see the winner of tournament in main menu. Will you be the next winner?
We really hope all our subscribers enjoy the new content and changes. This would not be possible without the support and help of our Patrons - so once again, a huge thanks to all of those who love our work and willingly choose to support us!
PS The Dwarfs and Greenskins have seen the developments made by all their enemies, and are preparing their retaliation! >:) stay tuned!
