Lightning Sorceress

Heya! Figured that it'll only be logical to make a Lightning Sorceress next! So yeah, this one does not have the lightning on her base, but as I said, I'll be posting all of these minis without the spell effects anyway, and I'll also make the base effects printable without minis. You'll be able to add the lightning effect to her base if you want to.

OH! And of course I was looking for a better way to render for a while now and I think I'm onto something with this one. Let me know what you think!

Quick update on the Sync issue: still working on it, along with a Sync Employee. This mini is also added to the post below, just in case, but most of them are good to download for Sync, if you download them one-by-one, but some just refuse to download. Looking into it, should not be a problem with the next mini and on.

Thanks! I wish I could take such good photos haha

I thought this was a photo of a resin print. Very nice.

You're welcome, and I thank you for your great input here as well. I will try to look at that piece of software, I'll see what it can do, or if there are some other alternatives too.

You're very kind, thank you for all the support! Oh and also you might be interested in KeyShot. I'm 99% sure Mia is currently using it for renders. It's amazing, but comes with a price.

Exactly, it's kinda frustrating to get a good render in Zbrush, I think I will have to start using Blender or other soft too. But 3 good light sources seems to be quite enough if the other settings are done properly I guess. Well, hopefully I will get there too :) Thanks, and keep up the good work. Looking forward to more cool stuff as always.

The lack of tutorials on Miniature Rendering is really frustrating that is true. This scene has 3 lights and a custom material, all rendered in Blender. Still not 100% satisfied lol. The other render is from Zbrush. I'm not a big fun of the resolution on those, this is why I'm trying to switch so desperately haha

I wish I knew some good way for renders like this... I can just guess it is a lot of setting with lights and then effects with layers in Photoshop, but I can be wrong. Anyway it seems like really lot of work.

I'll probably look into making this the norm for my renders in January, maybe expand on it a little bit

YourNeighborKnight

Nice model and also the render looks great!
