as discused in the pipe maker, I love the Ambiguous NPC/PC Rorschach test for storytelling. The elf was a bit less so, but still great merchant figure, Doctor, underworld Fence, street hustler, or even an assassin/poison vender. What's in your Bottle? But truth be told I always have been partial to dwarves.
