Wow! Is it really over? Yes and no. But you'll have to read to find out. (Sorry, I couldn't resist. I know, I know: Try harder! ๐)
I've been writing Summer Camp for so long that the end doesn't seem real. I feel like I've just retired from a long career and don't know what to do with myself. (You know exactly what I'm talking about if you're retired-retired.)
Anyway, I'm going to take a break and recharge for several weeks, probably until after Thanksgiving.
But don't worry, I have plenty of fun stuff in the queue for you. Just not stories. Well, not yet.
First, let's talk about Allie. Staff and Camp Counselors met her in the Special Edition Epilogue. She's one of Christy's friends in Atlanta, and she's also a tease. She and Paul have serious chemistry from the get-go.
She's the main character in the next book (the one I'm currently working on). It takes place about a year after the end of the main saga. I'll post a snippet or two for VIPs and above in the coming weeks, along with the other things I have planned for everyone.
I also plan to release a freebie e-book of Tying Up Loose Ends (Christy, book 7). Stay tuned for details.
Last but not least, thank you for reading. I haven't replied to most of your comments from last week, but I plan to answer them all.
I was a bit overwhelmed and probably a little sad after the end. I've known it was coming for 18+ years, but it still makes me emotional. She was still so young. ๐ข
On a happier note, here's a free gallery of Allie. The model's name is Stella Cardo, and here she is in Natural Highlight, from MetArt.
