Discussion thread: SPACE FOOD is published!

This episode is published and ready to hear wherever you get your podcasts.

I hope you're hungry for some dehydrated casserole because the lovely Maggie Coblentz and I chatted all about food in space: the tastes, the smells, the process, the nutritional value, the best, the worst, the sanctioned, the smuggled, and why she has some on her desk.

Did you listen? Let's talk about it in the comments! This one was a ... blast.

I never thought an episode on space food would be the episode that made me ok with never having the chance to be in/on the ISS. Loved this episode!

What a delightful episode, just what I needed to hear In These Times. I am SO gratified to know that kimchi has made it to space. I am also really impressed if they managed to somehow minimize the wonderful, STRONG kimchi smell. I want to say btw that, if memory serves, author Samuel Delany may have originated the idea of coffee "bulbs". At least, I first encountered them in his 1976 book "Trouble on Triton".
