Discussion thread: Blattodeology episode is ready to hear!

This episode is published and ready to listen to wherever you get podcast.

HEAR ME OUT. It's cockroaches. But, like, not just the ones you hate.

Dr. Dominic Evangelista is a cockroach scientist and he let me ask him approximately one million questions about what makes a roach a roach, where they live in the wild, which ones are the most beautiful, what their personalities are like, what to do if you don't want a cockroach as a roommate, what to do if you'd LOVE one as a pet, and how cockroaches are out there with live-saving evolutionary technology in their gross (beautiful) little bodies.

Have you listened yet? It will help you get over the fear and disgust -- I promise. Let's talk about it below.

You got this,

Haven't listened yet, but in my biology lab in college we were taught by a roach biologist. She would bring in a couple of large trash cans of roaches and we were expected to help ourselves to some and do things like weigh a bunch of them and do the statistics. I never did learn to handle them without gloves but with gloves on, it wasn't too horrible. She told us stories of bringing them across town from her lab in taxis. She would tell the driver they were crickets, I guess the roaches had too much of a yuck factor.

Okay, this episode seriously relived me of some long held cockroach-related anxieties...
