Discussion thread: Haunted Hydrology Spooky Lakes ep is published!

Geo Rutherford is here! The creator of Haunted Hydrology and the author of "Spooky Lakes: 25 Strange and Mysterious Lakes that Dot Our Planet" chats all about: mudbank bones, river wrecks, salty seas, pink ponds, poison dust devils, steamy streams, the dark history of The Great Lakes, a stump that controls the weather, goo lagoons, the lakes she wants to see the most, and how a drought can shiver your spine.

It’s a Spooktober spectacular, folks. Also, Patron-only pre-sale link:

Ologies live show tickets for Monday Nov. 17 at the Bell House

Offer passcode: PODFATHER (hit 'unlock' and then 'ok')

Okay, stay safe around spooky lakes, folks! Did you know Geo before this episode or is this your intro to her sPoooOOky lAkEs? You coming to the show? Enough questions out of me.

Been obsessed with bog bodies since I was a teen! Honestly the only form of "preservation" I'd be okay with as a corpse. Fun to think about your last meal (instant noodles) being determined by anthropologists 800 years later. Anyways thanks for the highlight reminder!! Much to queue!

For anyone who was tantalized by the mention of bog bodies, The Ancients podcast’s episode this week is all about them!

I LOVED this episode so much! I listened to it at work & had to Google every 5 minutes to see what you all were talking about. If they look at my search history they’re going to wonder what the heck I was doing, but so worth it lol
