I think Alan meant well but him and Kazuto are definitely on different pages in terms of how comfortable they are with physical stuff so early in a relationship. Alan was who Kazuto had his sights on anyway, even before Uzak and Ryota confessed to him. So it makes sense that Alan was his first choice. But yeah I agree. I think he wanted a date with Alan but didn’t anticipate things escalating so quickly. Sometimes you realize you’re not compatible with the person you’re interested in once you get to know them 🥲

2024-07-22 11:20:53 +0000 UTCOn the first day Kazuto met Alan, he probably wanted to learn more about him (maybe a possible interest to the particularly bright personality of Alan or a physical attraction too?). I believe Kazuto is the type of person who, when he makes a promise, tries to keep it. Before discovering Usak and Ryota's attraction to him, he thought Usak was too good for someone like him and that he had zero chances. When he told Alan he wanted to have a coffee date with him, he didn't anticipate that the production would propose a night date instead. I think he wanted to honor the promise he made to Alan by choosing him when the date arrived, without expecting things to become so intimate on their first meeting (I excluded the day before, as Kazuto arrived in the afternoon). Alan came on way too strong in my opinion. Not everyone feels comfortable in such situations. I believe Kazuto is the type that likes to create an emotional connection before anything else. I personally don't enjoy one-night stands unlike my friends for that particular reason; I am a bit of a romantic so I like to be in love. I like to take things slow to gauge if the person I like is serious about me and about having a relationship or not. I also keep in mind that the production don't show us everything so maybe Alan did try to take things further after and Kazuto put a stop to it and that's why he looked so uncomfortable while talking to Ryota and to the camera. Just a possibility.

I really thought in the end Kazuto would see him and really connect-I thought these two could have been a great couple( I kinda don’t like/vibe with Alan)🤷♀️ When Usak’s go-go dancing is behind him he should really pursue art maybe an anime illustrator. Those drawings of the cast were really good❤️
