John Stamos hears and plays Last Resort for the first time
Jess Bowen (The Summerset) hears and plays Bulls on Parade for the first time
Stewart Copeland (The Police) hears and plays Rollin' for the first time
25:52 the thing that immediately stood out to me is the traditional grip. That’s how I was taught to play Snare in High School but it never felt comfortable to me.

I love Jess. She’s a beast on the drums. I’ve been rocking with the Summer Set since “Chelsea”

Also, there's a video of Giulliana Merello playing a Police track on there which is a nice counterpoint to Copeland's piece.

I don't think you'd ever get a second take out of Stewart Copeland. He's a phenomenal drummer but I don't think I'd want to be in a band with him! Highly recommend the interview Drumeo did with him from around the same time, the Phil Collins interview is great too.
I really enjoyed the drummer from Megadeth doing Mr. Brightside. It's a great example of how changing the drum part can completely alter the feel of a song, and he seemed like such a nice bloke to boot!

Here's a few of my favorites from this series:
Chad Smith hears Bring Me the Horizon "Can You Feel My Heart" for the first time
Gregg Bissonette hears System of a Down "Toxicity" for the first time
Juilliard jazz prof Ulysses Owens Jr. hears Nirvana "In Bloom" for the first time

I saw rage against the machine for free as there was a campaign to stop Simon cowell’s X factor tv show getting the Christmas number one (used to be a HUGE thing in the uK)
There was a campaign online to get killing in the name to number one and it won. Me and my brother were quite involved with getting people into it 🤣
They donated the proceeds to charity and did a free gig in London for people ❤️

Ok I’m saving this for later but it’s right up my alley. Have you watched reactions or would you react to the song ‘black’ by Dave at the BRIT awards it’s my go to music reaction. That and obviously queen at live aid
