If the other two 'free' traitors had been really smart, and really evil, they could have united to make sure Meg was banished, thereby revealing the other two traitors. It would have guaranteed two more nights of not being banished as Ash and Paul would be banished in turn, taking them into the end game pretty much under the radar.
