Loved seeing you and your cat watch this together.😺 I saw this in my late teens not knowing anything about it and the cinema was full of fans dressed up and singing along (pre internet - yes I am that old) I didn’t know what the heck was going on🙀😹. But Tim Curry just amazing. He sang in Annie too and I got to see him in another musical on stage, fabulous voice and such presence but my favourite is his role in Legend, the Ridley Scott one. I used to work in central London and rolled out of a pub one night very drunk and bumped into him and slurringly told him how amazing he was, he was very sweet and seemed tiny. Xx

During editing did I notice the opening song spoils the plot of the movie? Lol

I have already watched a bunch of interviews lol it looks like what screenings of The Room would become decades later

Honestly if you ever get the chance to go to a live showing of the movie - or even better a live performance, definitely treat yourself, it is so much fun, people dress up, bring props, dance/sing/act along and there's a whole thing where the audience interjects lines when the Criminologist talks, it's such fun!

Oh also Richard o' Brian who wrote the show/music and is Riff-raff was also the (in-character) host of the absolutely legendary Crystal Maze, which I think is one of Alex's stated inspirations for Taskmaster. I'm sure you've been asked to react to one before!

It's such a vibe of a movie. It doesn't matter that the plot is so unhinged, it's just welcomes the weirdos and outcasts ❤🖤❤🖤
I watched a documentary on the history of Rocky Horror thinking it would be full of drama and instead... the cast enjoyed doing the stage show, made the movie without any particular fuss, and all seem to mostly get along still and have fondness for it.

The first time I watched this (about 20 years ago) I loved it but was so confused 😅 then I noticed all the little hidden details. I have seen this film so many times (and the live theatre performance twice) and it still doesn't entirely make sense lol
