Pornomicon - First encounter - First pages inked...
Added 2025-09-10 12:56:41 +0000 UTCThings are getting serious for Pornomicon - First Encounter. Here are four pages inked in HD (I know that without color it's much less exciting, but unfortunately I do the coloring at the end, after inserting the dialogues)... ð
In the meantime, I'm also working on the layout for the comicbook about the Three Stooges in the Edo era so that everything will be ready for the next Y/Con... If all goes well, I'll have 3 new releases for the occasion. ð
I am well aware that the next pages I am about to present, once inked, are also those you have already seen in the form of advanced sketches/storyboards, but this reflects the sometimes repetitive nature of the work of a comic book artist. ð ð
I'll try to insert from time to time new colored illustrations whenever I'll find the time. ðĪâģ

That's the part of job I prefer. Storyboarding is the most important part, for sure. Sketching is also very satisfying. But inking for, me is what I like the most. Coloring is just ð!

2025-09-10 15:59:15 +0000 UTCThe hard black and white inks really work stunningly well with the environment, the way the rocks twist and draw your eyes it gives you that same feeling of unease and dread that a good Junji Ito comic environment does.
