Notice | Gumroad store closure
Added 2024-07-25 04:47:24 +0000 UTCGreetings, Patrons. Today, we're sorry to report that things are not going well for us.
The Gumroad store service, which we provided by organizing old contents, has ended as of today. They has decided to no longer carry any adult content.
First, we apologize for the sudden inconvenience caused to those who were actively using that service. And we inform you that this is a unilateral decision by the service company and has absolutely nothing to do with our will.
Gumroad represents a significant portion of our revenue, and this will inevitably take a financial toll on us. Therefore, the search for alternative services has become urgent.
Honestly, there aren't that many options. We're very confused, but we think we'll probably end up choosing one of these:
Patreon recently introduced a similar sell-by-item feature, but doesn't yet allow adult content.
DLsite's format is completely different from the format we were used to providing, and additional censorship is essential for Japanese sites.
Creating a new tier on Patreon and rotation selling packages is a rough but easy solution.
Please wait for further notice...
And if you have any good opinions, please feel free to leave a comment.

2024-07-30 05:09:06 +0000 UTCYeah, it's a credit card company thing. Something they've been harping about for a while now. Here's a list of alternative store sites I've come across that other creators I follow are using now. https://itch.io/ https://cubebrush.co/ https://booth.pm/ https://payhip.com/ https://www.e-junkie.com/

2024-07-25 12:35:48 +0000 UTCItβs unfortunate it went like that with gumroad. When I first came across yaβall, I bought a few packs from there. Iβve seen some others are creating a new tier for past rewards, but thatβs similar to that third option. Just wanna say I love your works! π

2024-07-25 07:17:44 +0000 UTCThough it may sound weird, but how about on Onlyfans. Downside is that they charge 20% commission compared to gumroad's 10%

2024-07-25 06:27:29 +0000 UTCThe 3rd option seems to be the next best alternative. The problem with dlsite is that recently they banned credit card payments from both Visa and Mastercard unfortunately so it would definitely impede some people from purchasing. You can however still purchase dlsite points with PayPal via dlpay I think. For now at least. Do what you think is the best for you and hang in there. Even if it gets rough there will always be an audience for your works. β€οΈ
