One reason animation takes so long is due to the high number of tests we make - for various poses, compositions, and colour schemes. Studios will make a dozen colour keys for just one scene. We run on much less!
Also, I've been taking some time to learn Adobe After Effects. Really hoping to be able to use it so we can create a more shiny, visually appealing final product for you guys, as a change of pace from the usual flat colouring!!
