Are you learning it by ear(I can't do that easily, although when I was 23 I learned of my complicated fingerstyle by ear one frigging note at a time,, from cassette tapes, I think it must have been some sort of wrapped amount of exaggerated devotion and desire,, I can't possibly see people doing that nowadays. I don't consider what I was doing as being by ear, it wasn't a recognition of relative pitch even. It was a lot of time finding the next note on the fretboard by trial and error, nowadays I read music for the classical, use tab for the steel string fingerstyle, work through a method on keyboard, and try using tab for electric but end up mostly improvising. Have you given any more thought about in person video lessons larrisa, I couldn't start right away, and I want to get a solid average of one hour per day with my classical lessons back in my routine, but once I do that... I'm going to post a list of electric guitar material I have gotten some false starts with in my hangout, if you accept my invitation, we could discuss those and maybe choose one of those to work with at first, plus any exercises you would want me to start working with. I will also post what electric exercise material I have been working with most recently. I would say it might actually be two years since I've played any electric at all...
