Dev Log 02/01/2024 - Crimson High v0.31

I hope all of y'all got into the new year all nice and smooth and stuff. I definitely did, but girl, am I glad that all the holiday stuff is over now. It gets kind of a lot, doesn't it? Usually my mood gets worse and worse until NYE and then goes back up afterwards. Prolly because I can start smelling spring. Although right now all I'm smelling is dinner, tbh. How's it for you guys? Do you regularly get the holiday blues, too, around December? Let me know down in the comments. (Rehearsing for my YouTube career which definitely is something I want to ever try)

Anywayyyyy, the update, right? Well, it exists. It's also coming along nicely, I'd say.
Currently we're looking at a word count of ~14.000 words with a probably appropriate amount of renders. Dunno, haven't looked up the render number. Will do that for the actual release. Probably. Maybe. Yeah, I will.
As you can see, the update's going to take us back to the beach with Suzu (and maybe others? Find out RIGHT NOW for just 99 Shmeckles in our HOT! COOL! SPECIAL! BRAND-NEW! PREMIUM ABONNEMENT (Disclaimer: It doesn't exist)).
There'll be a bunch of nice (and some not so nice) stuff happening, including the important and overdue talk with Suzu about her family. We'll also get one (or more?) exciting offers, further developing our growing network of cute girls.

In other, kinda peripheral news, I've got a wisdom tooth removal surgery coming up in a couple weeks, so depending on how that goes, it might impact the next update (v0.32), but going by how the last one (4 or so weeks ago) went, it shouldn't be much of an issue. Probably just a day or two of soreness-related time off from working on updates. I think neither you guys nor I want to see what comes from me writing stuff while grumpy from a sore (and badly swollen) jaw.
Since I can't think of anything else to put in here, I'll now conclude this dev log by saying thank you for more than two wonderful years of working on CH only made possible by you guys' support! You can't imagine how grateful I am for being able to do this for a living. It's amazing. Thank you, mates! I hope all of y'all will have a glorious year of 2024!

Once Christmas an New Year are over with, I've pretty much had my fill of winter... so yeah, fuck winter. Good luck with the oral surgery... Wisdom teeth suck, too, lol... Hoping you had a pleasant holiday season, at any rate, and looking forward, as always, to the new stuff! Cheers!

Winter starts late December with the winter solstice and ends late march with the spring equinox. You smell spring while I'm fortified for the cold to come. You're not alone on winter blues, tho.
