Hello everyone! I hope life is all treating you well. Like, seriously I do hope you guys are all safe from the pandemic and all and not doing dumb things. (Please keep your masks on when going outside!!!)

My batteries are somewhat re-charged from all the stress that's happening in the world after I realize I could open my window and get some sun that way.

The last two weeks could have never been better, actually! I'll explain it at the Patron Request section. For now, updates!

Progress Updates

Not a wall of text. Hopefully.

🔁 Patreon Requests: [ Thursdays & Fridays ]

The pile is actually a tad bit smaller! Thank goodness. BUT it's still a two-handfuls.

This is because for the last two weeks I've been implementing a more proper standard of me working. This time, not a project a week, but a different things PER DAY. (Thanks Shurian! 💛)

These past two weeks alone I've finished 6 pieces of art.

Here's the plan though:
1. Finish all lower (easier) commissions first so I won't be staggered to tackle the "large" list. That way I could narrow down the harder ones and not be discouraged by a large list

2. Change a part of the points system. This change is explained down below at the update list for points.

3. Ease up on what to get. That means more sketches than "out there" art for the patreon queue. I'll be implementing something Lemony does in theirs: sketch pages!

✋ Penguin Project: [ somewhat on hold ]

If you have a copy of Rivals of Aether, I plan to let people test out Penguin around this month, hoping I don't forget about it.

Other than that, I actually forgot to progress on this one. Before I forgot to, I actually transferred all of Penguin's sprite into Aseprite so I could animate easier. Hopefully it's smooth sailing from then on.

That said: I can export sprites now! So here's Penguin in the "Prinny" color pallette:

This one is their old pose. It was replaced later cause when you turn it all black, it's hard to tell what they are doing.

Like Penguin, I also forgot about this because I prioritized another project. I also didn't notice the wiki link didn't work.

✅ Fia [i]: [ weaved Saturdays & Sundays ]

GameMaker: Studio 2 is being updated to version 2.3. I joined the open beta cause the update actually does a TON of good things that I could use for optimization.

Here's an example:
• OLD: deck_shuffle(Deck, 1)
• NEW: Deck.shuffle()

The old one you need to specify the deck from a call, and the type of call it is. (1 being the user's deck, 0 being any other deck) The new one I can call from the deck directly without even specifying the type!

Just imagine that one thing, but a lot that.

Anyways, here's a preview of me drawing a card repeated because there's no upper limit and I didn't program it to continue the battle when you do.

Remember there's a Tabletop Simulator prototype you could play with a friend!

✅ FiaDH: [ Saturdays & Sundays ]

This one is what I think I should be prioritizing, cause here I can make content faster.... and did so I did.

I'm working on a section called Crystal Lane. That section is used to learn entering sequences of black and red, which is used for a later section. I think it's a nice teaching tool, especially it's used for a later section.

Here's an unused section: (it doesn't exist now)

I removed it because of how it's layed out, you're mostly waiting on the moving platform.

Furrypinas Update: it's canceled. I got the refund for applying the booth though!
#FurriaFridays are on hold for this month. We need a break from doing that.
I'll be doing Art Fight this month! Mostly it's for practice or warm-up.

👛 Important Points Update

I'll be changing my base price for commissions to $40. ( That means 👛40! )

I'm not sure that will stay or not. Not only I'll be doing this but I'll be changing how much points everyone will get, too so that I don't get overwhelmed by easing up through giving less complex options per month.

That said, I'll probably make a new commission sheet soon.

So here's how much points everyone will get depending on your tier next month:

🍮 Puddi Aid = 👛+10
🍨 Iced Aid = 👛+5
