I think you missed the power scale moment. When old girl said her queen was a slow riser beta said "this magical energy is greater than lady alpha's" so yeah even Alpha alone would not win, there would have to be mulitple of the original seven possibly to win (not sure how many) but even then the queen can clearly control there possessed blood so that might cripple their chances.
